Matchmaking 2.0 has arrived. We’re removing the lobby – now all you have to do is choose a game and entry fee and you’ll automatically be matched with an opponent! It has never been easier to earn real money playing games on Stakester. 

Now, our Matchmaking system will do the work for you, all you need to do is let us know when you’re ready to play. When we find your opponent, we’ll send you a notification so you never miss an opportunity to win cash playing games.

Once you press that Reedy button, it’s on. All of the intense competition you could want, earning money and prizes playing your favourite games, is right there – with one tap of a button. There’s only one question: are you ready to play?

What else is new? 🔥

You can now check your previous results in our new activity log, which can be accessed in the bottom right corner of the screen in the app. You can check the status of any previous competitions and check your win streak any time you like.

We’ve also got a brand new competition flow with a super satisfying end! We don’t want to give the game away, but if you get on the app and test your skills you’ll see that we’ve made winning on Stakester feel even more amazing. 

You can also now play for new prizes in Matchmaking – $1, $10 and $25 (plus Gems, of course). And, you can try the new system out for free! To celebrate the launch of the new app, everyone gets a free game with a free $1 entry into Matchmaking. 

How it works 🎮

If you’re not one for watching videos, we’ve got a quick rundown here – and trust us, it really is as simple as it sounds.

1. Choose your game and platform
2. Select your entry fee by swiping left/right
3. Ready up and wait for your opponent
4. Add each other’s platform ID and get playing!

Then, when both players are ready, it’s game on.

The Prize Store 💎

When the competition is over, submit the result as normal and your winnings will appear in your account. You’ll also receive Gems, which you can exchange for awesome prizes in the Prize Store.

To find out what prizes are on offer in your area, just tap your Gems total and you’ll enter the Prize Store. If you see something you like the look of, then it’s time to get grinding. From small wins like a new pair of headphones, to massive prizes like an actual Peloton Bike (yeah, you read that right) – we will always offer much more than just cash rewards!
